I'd rather go hunting with Sarah Palin...

What is up with these stupid polls??? 50% of those polled would like to watch a football game with Senator Obama compared to just 47% for Senator McCain... That's about as ignorant as more Americans would rather have a beer with President Bush than John Kerry... So here's what I think, stop dumping on one another and get damn clear about how you intend to lead our country because unlike me, there exists a drove of voters who are balancing the two choices (well three if you want to count Ralph Nader)... I can't stand looking through the websites looking for relevant material to better educate my students on our ever changing world and find an article about the two month waiting period for Sarah Palin's frameless glasses or Michelle Obama's rise to the best dressed celebs... But nevertheless, I would love to go hunting with Sarah Palin and I wonder if she's a better shot than the Rabid Maine Outdoorsman...

She is from Alaska . . . I guarantee she can shoot better! Maybe we can talk her into letting us come up and shoot some Harlequins with her? What do you think the pooled chances of that are?

I agree get serious because America needs someone who is serious about taking care of this countries ills!

Couldn't agree more. Although I have to say, this cycle has not been nearly as depressing as 2004. Out of 300 million people in this country, the two best candidates were John Kerry and GWB? Are you kidding me? That was just painful to watch.

No matter who wins this time, this country is in for some tough times. It's ridiculous to hear Obama talk about new social programs and McCain talk about all the tax cuts he wants to give, while our country's debt has almost entirely been TRIPLED (blame whoever you want) and purchased by THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT. And now we're bailing out millionaires and European banks who already have pensions and nest eggs at hundreds of millions a piece? Hello? Does anyone else out there think that this is problematic, and maybe, just maybe, A PRIORITY? I mean, tax cuts to small business owners are great, and saving starving children is great, but we don't have the money for either!!!!!

I mean, it's not as interesting as seeing poll results on "which candidate would give the best lap dance," but....SHEEEESH!

Excellent post DEDH.
